About Our Company
Sarah Kusa Design Goods creates unique, handmade accessories for the home. The Saint Paul-based company was launched in 2006 by (who else?) Sarah Kusa, a former art director and designer for the advertising industry. Sarah wanted to bring her clean, bold design aesthetic to her own living space, so she took a screenprinting class and soon found herself bringing designs to life in her basement studio. Equipped with her mother's bird's-egg-blue, three-ton sewing machine straight out of the Sixties, the big idea was born.

Sarah designs each product personally and loves working with natural fibers to create lasting beauty. Her goal is to excite the eyes and infuse spaces with personality. Oh — and someday very soon, to get out of the basement.
